I am back in the office today and was able to stop by to get a look at the progress of the family room project. It looks really fantastic. Phyllis was just finishing up the family room and was going to be starting on the kitchen wall.
Ray is working on the numbers for the storm door (same one as used on the side entrance) and what it would take to rework the interior door.
Phyllis and I discussed paint colors on the door and have some really interesting suggestions. Speaking of, if you are considering painting the door you may also want to carry it onto painting the vertical trim on either side of the door and the pieces to the right and left. The trim pieces would be a different color than the door. Phyllis suggested stripping the paint off of the mail box slot, it is brass underneath, polishing it up and applying a protective coating. A new larger, front light fixture would also add to the look and ultimately, you may want to consider a larger, more substantial porch railing. Something in black with straight lines would be best. And, of course, we could handle all this work for you……
